A pregnant Korean-American woman returns to Korea and her mother. They bathe and scrub each other, hoping to heal past wounds.

Thomas Percy Kim, born in South Korea in 2001, is a Korean-American writer and director. His stop-motion short, "Trejur", debuted at Heartland Film Festival and Busan International Film Festival at the age of 17. His live action short, "SI", starring Ki Hong Lee, was sold to and distributed by HBO Max, and his latest project, "Busan 1999", winning the qualifying award for Best Short Film at San Francisco Film Festival, is in consideration for 2023 Oscars competition. While attending USC (University of Southern California), he is currently in pre-production for his debut feature with EP Jim Cummings.

A 17 anni è stato selezionato all’Heartland Film Festival e al Busan International Film Festival con il suo cortometraggio in stop-motion “Trejur”. Il suo cortometraggio di fiction, “SI”, interpretato da Ki Hong Lee, è stato venduto a HBO Max che lo ha distribuito. Il suo ultimo progetto, “Busan 1999”, vincendo il premio qualificante come Miglior Cortometraggio al San Francisco Film Festival, è in considerazione per gli Oscar 2023. Attualmente frequenta l’USC (University of Southern California) ed è in fase di pre-produzione del suo primo lungometraggio con Jim Cummings.
